Dubai contractor wins $35m deal to build Berkeley Square in JVC
Drake & Scull International have been appointed as the main contractor for the off-plan residential project in the heart of Jumeriah Village Circle.
Prestige One Developments have appointed Drake & Scull International as the main contractor for the Berkeley Square project in Jumeriah Village Circle.
The project is inspired by the architecture of London’s Berkeley Square.
The development will comprise of 241 units, and is expected to be delivered in 2028.
It will be located in the heart of JVC, and amenities will include a cinema, sports courts, swimming pool and a Zen garden.
The award builds on the Strategic Collaboration Agreement between DSI and Prestige One Developments, that was announced by
DSI in January, which established a framework for collaboration.
Berkeley Square by Prestige One marks the next milestone in that partnership, reflecting a significant expansion in the scope, scale, and strategic depth of the collaboration. It combines DSI’s expertise with Prestige One’s development vision.
Muin El Saleh, Group CEO of Drake & Scull International, expressed his delight at winning the contract for the prestigious off-plan project.

Yamin Shihab, Chief Development Officer of Prestige One Developments, said that Prestige One had set a clear
standard for design and quality.
“DSI brings the engineering strength and execution expertise required to deliver Berkeley Square with precision and in line with our vision.
“In the coming weeks, we will announce the award of further specialist subcontract packages as the project progresses,” said Shihab.
