Social Responsibility
Group Seven Properties joins Dubai Cares "Water Bucket Walk" in support of children in developing countries.
On average, children in developing countries walk more than 6 km every day to collect water that is likely to make them sick. The lengthy time spent daily to collect water prevents many children from attending school.
Group Seven Properties is supporting the campaign launched by Dubai Cares and has participated in the Water Bucket Walk held on November 20th on Jumeirah Beach Road. From the management of the company, that has participated unanimously and collectively in the walk, to support staff, we at Group Seven would like to show that we understand the social responsibility we have towards the less fortunate and that we care.
The Water Bucket Walk is an initiative by Dubai Cares that will give the UAE community the opportunity to experience a fraction of the difficulties children in developing countries face on a daily basis, by walking 3 km carrying a bucket much like a child in a rural community would do daily. The AED 30 fee paid by each participant will guarantee access to clean drinking water for a child for one entire year.
